When looking to set up a new account with Kings Transport, you will need to contact your Account Manager and advise them to contact the carriers IT department and advise that you are looking to despatch your account through MachShip. Hi Support Team,
I need to set up my account <insert account code> with Kings Transport so that I may consign with my new FMS partner MachShip.
Can you please provide me with the following:
1. API Key
2. API Secret
Finally, could you please also send a list of copy of my bookable services so I may be able to upload these into the MachShip system.
Once the Kings Transport team responded, you will then need to fill out the specific options:
Account Code - The account code will have been provided to you when your account was set up.
API Key / API Secret for Kings Transport - The API key and API secret is required in order for MachShip to be able to book in a pickup electronically.
Once done, click on the Save Carrier Account button.
How to set up the Ratecard:
Kings Transport are configured to price off the Carriers System and as such you will need to extract and upload the ratecard in the below format. This will contain all the available services Kings Transport local movements.
Once the account has been set up and all of the rates have been added, you will need to run a test to ensure that upon go-live, everything will run successfully. To do this, create a job and type in the Reference 1, Reference 2 and the Delivery Special Instructions as THIS IS A TEST. Once this has been created it will be booked in with the carrier.
If you receive a successful manifest message from MachShip then please send an email to the Kings Transport Team and advise them that you are starting to despatch your Kings Transport account through MachShip and that you would like to receive verification on the test file and permission to start to trade.

On confirmation from the support team that the setup is validated, you are free to begin to consign.
