The integration setup between MachShip and Capital Transport involves the booking of consignment via an API call. Tracking functionality has then been enabled for all MachShip clients without the need to provide any credentials.
As a result, all that needs to be provided for the specific options for Capital Transport are the Account Code and API Token.
Please note that the Auto ETA and Auto Pricing flags have been set up for a specific account type integration with Capital Transport. If you have not been advised to set these as Yes, please leave them all as No.
Account Code – The account code would have been provided to you when your account was set up.
API Token – this will be provided to you by MachShip team. You will send them an email requesting for the API Token, you will need to provide them with Account Code and the state your account is based in. You can contact them at email@example.com.
MachShip will also need to see written approval from your Capital Transport account manager that you are entitled to access their system via the API.
Optional Tracking SMS and Tracking Email:
If you wish to allow for the account to send an SMS to the receiver of collection of the goods - or to send an email of the POD on completion to the receiver then you can set the flags below to be YES
Note: The Sms messages from Capital Transport are separate from any SMS setup that is created within the MachShip Platform
Capital Transport is configured to price off the Carriers System and as such you will need setup and upload the ratecard as per below format. This will contain all the bookable services provided by your account manager.
1. Set your Account Code in the Ratecard field

Please note you can add in extra services as required
Once the carrier account has been set up and all the rates are added, you will need to run a test to ensure that upon go-live, everything will run successfully. To do this, create a consignment - please make Reference 1 and Reference 2 and the special instructions for the pickup and for the delivery to THIS IS A TEST. Once this has been created it will automatically manifest the consignment to the carrier. If you experience any issues please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you receive a successful creation message from MachShip then please call Capital Transport and advise that you are starting to despatch your Capital Account through MachShip and that you would like to receive verification on the test file (please provide them with the job number). Also, advise them that this is just a test and that you require the job be canceled so that you are not charged and the driver doesn't arrive. Please cc email@example.com on this email so we can help if required.
On confirmation from Capital that the setup is validated, you are free to begin to consign.
No Account Found:
Should you be running your testing and see a message appear like the below in the top right-hand corner. This will indicate that Capital Transport has not yet set up your account in their TMS system. Alternatively, you may have the account code wrong.
Service Code Note Found:
Should you be running your testing and you see a message appear like the above which says Service Code Not Found then this will indicate that the service you are attempting to book is not available. In this case please contact your Capital Transport representative as it will indicate that the rates have been changed.
If you see the error message Refer Accounts please contact your Capital Transport representative as they will need to advise on how to re-enable the account.
MachShip has the facility by which to send you the Capital Transport financial invoice in the MachShip generic format. If you wish to facilitate this please request that the Capital Transport team add the email firstname.lastname@example.org as an invoice receiver.
