How to import Rates into MachShip
1. Validation
Once on the lane rate import page select Add Files.
The file(s) will appear and you will have the option to upload or upload all. Select.
The system will verify the file and return any errors to you like the below.
Once the errors have been corrected then the file appears in the lower section. This will mean that it has successfully passed validation and can be imported.
2. Importing
Once the file has been validated, you will need to tell the system what you require to be done with the file. This is set by the Reset Carrier and Service Lane Rates drop-down. This appears as below and is set per file.

Do Not Reset Rates - This will add all the rates on the spreadsheet to the system (only do this if you are setting up a new account or adding one or 2 rates to an existing setup. If you do you could get duplicates).
Reset Accounts - This will delete everything in the system for that account and update with the rates on the spreadsheet.
Reset Account Service Combination - This will delete everything in the system with a matching service code and account code to what's on the spreadsheet and update the system with what is on the imported spreadsheet.
Once you have selected the required options you can import the rates.
This can be completed in 3 ways.
1. Cog on the right - import each file individually.
2. Tick Box on the left and import all or individual files.
Select the file lines in the grid which you wish to import and select the Import Selected Lane Rates button.
Note that the tick box in the top right of the grid will select all.
When successful you will see a green alert in the top right-hand corner:
